Today's Weight: 202.8
Well, after writing my last blog I realized I wasn't eating very much and not very often Sunday and Monday. Yesterday, I ate more and today I'm back on track. I've already had probably close to 600 calories and I plan on getting up to about 1500-1800 by the end of the day. I cooked a bunch of chicken last night so I don't have to bother with the preparing.
I honestly think I have turned a corner in how I deal with things. I still have insomnia but I haven't really craved comfort food and I noticed I didn't really want to drink alcohol just to drink it. I drank for the hockey game the other night, but I haven't drank just to drink...which the old me would have definitely done. I realize that I am depressed and drinking probably isn't the best idea right now. Also, I am getting so much out of my workouts. They make me feel good and for the most part takes my mind off all the crap. The only time I think about it is really when I am running. Which I have been able to do for 30 minuets consecutively again. I ran 2.77 miles in 30 minutes. I'm pretty proud of that considering I have NEVER been a runner and I just started training for running 2 weeks ago. I ran at a speed of 5.5 or higher this time, usually fluctuated between 5.5 and 5.7 but towards the end I got it up between 6.0-6.5. The new shoes have definitely helped out a lot along with stretching. Don't really get shin splints anymore and the only thing that is sore every now and then is my right hamstring. But I'll work out those kinks.
Well, I hope everyone is doing good this week. Really haven't seen to many blogs lately. And one last thing....GO PENS!

Sounds like you are really getting things nailed down. I am expecting to see some pretty amazing results from your efforts. Dude you so need to post some pics. Your almost in Onederland and pushing 60lbs lost. Thats a huge difference and pics would say a 1000 words.
I keep trying to post pictures, but the thing is I don't have a computer at home. My brother does, but I usually forget to do it at home...plus, I'm still not all the comfortable with what I see...but I may just suck it up and do it here soon.
