Today's Weight: 202.6 lbs
5-Day Average: 203.48 lbs
Ocean 11 loss: 4.12 lbs
So this weekend went by and I could have made some smarter decisions...however I was on my recovery week and so I probably relaxed the rules a little more than I normally would have. A couple of beers turned into a lot, however I'm totally cool with it. I think I needed this week off to recharge my batteries and get back into the swing of things.
So, this morning I weighed in at 202.6 lbs and all my measurements are the same (I was pretty happy about that considering I hadn't worked out all week). I also have started my new workout routine. I am waking up between 6-6:30am. Right when I get out of bed I do a max set of push-ups and then I hit the head and get my morning weigh-in. Then I do another set of max push-ups and go downstairs watch a little t.v. and have my breakfast. Then I get ready for the day and put my gym clothes on, do one last set of max push-ups and then off to the gym.
I started a new workout routine (mike from billy's page) and it was pretty taxing. I haven't done a lot of those before and they seemed to kick my ass. I'm looking forward to wednesday now. So after doing the lifting routine I went and ran for 10 minutes...well more like ran for 6 walked for 4 because my stupid effin iPod. Then I did the elliptical for about 10 minutes. I was just killing time because there was a class I tried for the first time.
The class was called BodyCombat and it kicked my ass. It's kind of like a shadow boxing class only there's a lot more elements to it. It seriously kicked my ass.
Well, I said this was going to be quick and I have kind of rambled on. I'm back zeroed in and ready to win this challenge!

BodyCombat? Sounds fun! Way to get back into the swing of things. Damn.
Man what I would give to be 24 again ;). Don't take your youth for granted it flys by man. Keep kicking A$$. BodyCombat does sound cool.
Yo Jason! To answer your question from my blog, I've been eating meals such as omelettes (made with bacon, avocado, bell pepper, and onions), meat (chicken thighs, pork chops, steak), green vegetables, and I tend to snack on nuts and fruit. I'm not so much worried about staying super low-carb, I'm just trying to avoid grains, since they're so carb-heavy and they don't provide much nutrients. I haven't gone so low as to be ketogenic, because I want to maintain enough muscle glycogen to fuel my workouts (and I just like fruit too much).
