Today's Weight: 191.6 lbs
5-Day Average: 193.52 lbs
I'd have to say overall I had an alright weekend. I drank a lot on Saturday, however, I was able to limit my injuries to just kneeing a tv when I was running up the stairs. So, I just have a bruise and it hasn't hampered anything. I ate some pizza, which wasn't the best decision, but it tasted really good, and I hadn't had a cheat meal in over a week. I know it sounds like I'm justifying everything right now, and to an extent I am, but I am not mad at myself for it at all.
So that was the weekend, I've already got right back into weight loss mode. Yesterday, I went to the gym and was planning on doing a light 20-min cardio session on an arch-trainer, however, I've had a lot on my mind and I just kept going stronger and harder and ended up burning off 466 calories (according to the machine) in that 20 min...that was just my warm up. I'm in the middle of changing my work out up, so I didn't do my legs as I have been doing on Monday and did chest and arms instead. It turned out it was probably better for the softball, although I didn't hit as well, my legs didn't feel like jello all game! Today I went to the gym before work (I can't stress how much more I like to work out in the morning opposed to in the afternoon or night!) and I'm feeling full of energy and just well all around! I did 21 min of HIIT, followed by 9 minutes of a good pace and ended up getting about 670 calories burnt in 30 min. So as much as I hate cardio, I've kinda been kicking ass on it!
In other news, I said that I wanted to be down to 190 by then end of July (Will's Uprising), and for a while there I didn't think I have a chance. However, the last two days have made it seem like a possibility. I know I won't have a 5-day average below it, however I might be able to have a weigh in at it before the end of July, or August 1st. So I'm going to be going pretty hard to achieve that. I also took new measurements yesterday and I lost about 2 more inches off my body, so that is also really good news. I honestly think I've been doing so well recently because I have an awesome girlfriend that cooks for me, and motivates me because she wants to better herself as well. It's crazy how much drive you can get from other people. She pushes me when I don't feel like going the gym, and it's just an awesome situation. She cooks AMAZING meals, and they are good healthy meals too! I think that is why it has been so easy for me as of late to be able to eat so clean, and I'm seeing direct results in my weight loss!
All in all, I think I'm doing a good job...is it the best? No. Could it be better? Yes. Am I happy with the results I'm getting? Definitely! I hope to keep this momentum going and get that number to 190 or below!

Good to hear things are going well, Jason, although I've got to admit that it's a frustrating pattern to check BlogLines every Monday and see you talk about how you drank too much every weekend. Makes me worry, but I won't ramble on about that.
Cool to hear about your lady friend and how she's really supporting your self-improvement efforts. You're spot on about how having people in our corner really spurs us on when they take the time to get in there with us - rather than just cheer from the sidelines.
Sounds like you are pretty much on fire man. Your body just wants to loose weight. It is great to have someone at home in your corner. I have that also and it has really helped me this time around. My wife and I ate similar this last weekend (I drank more) and I gained 3 pounds, she lost 1.5.... go figure. I am still trying to correct my slip up. Anyway glad things are going good for you man.
Sounds like you're kicking butt Jason! Great job!
you're right it's sooooo much better to get that workout done in the morning. it's soooooooooo hard to get there but i'm always glad when I'm done :)
