Suprised..

Well, I had an awful weekend for my health. Saturday I had bowl for kids sake, and I said I was going to have a beer, and that turned into about 6. After that I went to an achievement dinner for my dad. I could have eaten worse, but I had green beans, corn, chicken leg (with skin) and a salad. Although there were 6 diferent cakes, I didn't have a piece.

Then yesterday, I didn't really eat all day which was a mistake because then I was hanging out with some friends, and ended up getting pretty messed up. At about 11:00pm, I had 9 hot wings and some pizza. Awful, I was so pissed at myself this morning.

However, when I woke up this morning I was suprised to see it really didn't effect me to much. I guess I'll see if it does the next couple of days, but on Thursday last week (the last time I weighed myself) I was at 238, and today I was at 232.2. I can't really explain it, I just hope I don't shoot to far up in the next couple of days. I did kill myself at the gym today, and I plan on doing the same all this week to make up for how shitty I treated my body this weekend.

I posted my new measurments on the side of my blog. Here's to a better week!

Even if you get away with it this time man don't expect that to always be the result. I have had extra eating be good to me on occasion but more often its bad to me meaning more pounds. Just don't fall into a rut of thinking you can pull days like that too often or it will bite you. especially when you start getting older.

I second Rip's comments. I've let myself do that a few times, and then had a fine weigh-in, so I figure "Oh, okay, then I can do that more often." Which results in not losing any weight off my average for weeks at a time. It's good that you're in the gym though, that definitely strengthens the drive to eat right.

Sometimes the Weight Loss Gods give you a gift. Don't take it for granted, because as I know all too well, the Weight Loss Gods giveth, and the Weight Loss Gods taketh away.

Either way - take it and be happy with it. And then be stronger this week.
