Same Cycle

So I was feeling really good, I had three consecutive days of weighing in the 245's, and then today I jumped back up to 248.8. It seems as though I've hit a plateau at the very beginning of my crusade. I don't really understand it as I have been eating really well, and often to try to keep my metabolism going. This is usually what I eat in a day.

9:00am - fat free yogurt, with banana or apple, Green tea and/or V8 juice, Fish oil and multivitamin.
12:00pm - Salad with Chicken breast, Green tea and/or V8 juice
3:00pm -Piece of fruit or veggies (depends if I'm at home or work), water
6:00pm - Protein Bar, water
9:00pm - Chicken Breast or Salmon, with fresh veggies or a salad, Green tea and/or V8 juice. Fish oil

This is the schedule for when I work out at 6:30pm, which is wed-fri.

I go to the gym 6 times a week, do strength training 4 times a week. I guess you can say that I'm frustrated. Last time I tried to lose weight it came off really fast, and I got down to 230lbs pretty easily. It may be because I'm gaining muscle, but I don't think so. Sucks. I can tell you one thing for sure though; I’ll be doing the same thing tomorrow.

By the way brother jay, you're recipe for that turkey chili is awesome; you gotta put the jalapenos in it though!

If I can make one suggestion - try backing off the weight training to 3 times a week. If you're going 4 out of every 7, you're not giving your body that regeneration time.

Then again, if it's 'every other day' and it just works out that every other week is 3 a week, then you're ok - but make sure your body gets its rest too. I found that out the hard way.

The eating looks great - having the green tea is such a good idea fr you.

What do you mean you found that out the hard way? I think I am going to change it to mon lower body, tues upper body, wed just cardio, thurs lower body, fri upper body and then sat cardio, sun off.
