Staying Strong

So last night, I weighed in at 243.0 lbs. I think that is the first time since I've started this whole thing that I had the same weight. So if everything happens like it usually does, I should have a pretty good weigh in on Monday. I'm hoping to get into those 230's. That way I have a realistic shot at getting to 225lbs by my birthday.

I had a really good lower body workout yesterday, but when it was time to do cardio I really wasn't in the mood. I didn't really go hard, I sort of had a headache and I didn't want to be at the gym all night long. So, I was kind of pissed at myself for that, I did the 30 min, but I didn't get a great cardio workout. After that I went into the sauna for about 25 minutes and then went home and had my chicken dinner.

Today, I woke up at 7:45, had a cup of yogurt and banana for breakfast. Got ready for work and made some green tea for the drive. Now I'm at work until 12, then I'm going to go to the gym and get a good ab workout in and some cardio (I'm going to do cardio first, that way I can't puss out of it like I did last night). Then I may hit the sauna up again, and after that I just hope not to drink to much this weekend, and my week of no drinking has been completed. It's actually been longer than a week, but I really haven't felt like drinking for a while. However, I have a hankering for some Maker's Mark, so I'll probably go out and get some of that, but I'll drink it in moderation.

I hear you - the weekends are potholes in the road. Sounds like you're doing what you need to do. Let's make Monday a good one.
